? What's the best All-In-One online platform?? (rant alert ?)
It's a question a lot of people ask these days.
And a lot of people answer, recommending (or not) the platform they're using or selling.
I'm wondering how helpful these conversations on social media are.
It's like asking “What's the best car?”
In both cases the short answer is, “Depends ..”
Depends on ..
- what functionality you need – now and in the future
- what you already have
- how tech savvy you are, i.e how much of a learning curve you're willing and able to take on
and a few other things.
How about talking it through with someone who is familiar with the options (but not a vendor) to help you decide which tools are the best choice for YOU right now?
One of my favourite Einstein quotes is, “Make everything as simple as possible, but not simpler.” and it's spot on in this context.
All-in-one solutions look tempting because they promise simplicity. They have advantages but also solid drawbacks.
And yes, helping people figure out which set of tools makes sense for them, and implementing that solution is part of what I do for my clients.
