You may know that I worked as a software developer before starting my own sewing business and becoming a coach. You'd probably laugh when you hear me talk about the many similarities I see between the different careers ..
One golden rule I learned working in IT has been beyond valuable for both, my sewing and coaching business:
“Never ever do what the client asks for!”
Of course that doesn't mean you'll send them home .. 🙂
PS: The golden rule doesn't just apply to sewing clients .. if you know anyone who spent a lot of time and money on a website but somehow wasn't entirely happy with the result .. it's the same thing .. chances are the web designers ignored the golden rule ..
