If you're like most people you'll watch a video longer than 2 or 3 minutes (sometimes less) only if
- you know the author, and/or
- the topic offers an anwer to a question you have, or a solution to a problem you are actively looking to solve (ok, cute puppy videos might be the exception
unless ..
.. there is a powerful intro or something else that makes you curious, that convinces you that listening to this podcast episode or watching that video will be worth your time.
You decide in a split second whether to scroll past or stop and gift a piece of content your precious attention.
