Taming the Tech Monster - don't build a hamster wheel

Don't build yourself a hamster wheel!

It's exhausting, it's draining, it's unsustainable.

And it's an easy trap to fall into.

Especially if you offer a service. Especially if you're good at a lot of things.

You do it all. That's not a problem when you start out and have a client here and there, but it can quickly get to the point where it sucks the life out of you, and you feel like running on a hamster wheel that goes too fast to jump off.

How I know? I started my first business, a sewing business specializing in made to measure flamenco dance costumes, in 2004. My entire focus was on getting that first, then that next client. Until I realized that I had to keep “running” constantly to keep things running.
It took a lot of time and effort to jump off my hamster wheel.

Being strategic and creating systems and using tech tools effectively makes all the difference. It's what allows you to create a business that can grow without you “running” faster, so you can focus on your vision and the impact you're out to make.

If you know you're reaching a limit, you can't continue to grow until you operate differently, but put off making the desperately needed changes because you dread the Tech Monster …

I can help

Let's have a chat about how you can change the way you work and what you need in order to become the true CEO of your business. If we both feel I can help you achieve that we'll discuss the options for working together.

When I look at the glamorous flamenco costumes I mostly remember the pressure and exhaustion I felt, rushing to keep everyone happy and to get the costumes done in time.

Fortunately, there is another way to turn your passion into a business ..
