🦆 Bring your ideas, not ducks in a row.

When I had my sewing business, I had clients who would spend weeks preparing the design of the dress they wanted me to make.

When they finally came and showed me their drawing and pulled out the fabric they'd bought, so often I'd take one look and say,
Hey, with this design, you can't actually do the dance steps you need to do, or how will you get into that dress?

When I looked at the fabric, so often the fabric wasn't suitable or it wasn't enough.

So basically, they wasted a whole lot of time and often money to try and do work they're not really good at because they didn't realize that these questions would be so much better and so much quicker answered together.

Now I see the same thing happen when it comes to online tech.

So often people will say, Oh, I need you. I just need to get my ducks in a row…

“I'm working on the modules for my online course”, or
“I need to figure out the platform for my new website.”

What I'm suggesting is, don't waste your time and money trying to get ducks in a row when you don't really know much about those ducks.

It'll be much quicker and more fun to work out together, what needs to be done in what order, and then take the shortest path to get there.

Bring your ideas, not ducks in a row.
